Paul Velardi previously served Putnam County as an Assistant District Attorney, from 1990 to 1997, handling a wide range of cases from violations to felonies, the highest of which was the Criminal Sale of Cocaine, a Class A-II Felony.

Biography: Paul Velardi is a life long resident of Brewster and graduated from Brewster High School. He attended Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School of Union University. He began practicing law with his father, Charles Velardi, in 1985 who has since retired.

He spent 8 years as an Assistant District Attorney in Putnam County from 1990-1997, handling a wide range of cases and obtaining the conviction of a drug dealer for the Criminal Sale of Cocane, as Class A-II Felony resulting in a lifetime sentence.
